“Only the US can guarantee its security”

The Republican president assured that American citizens are “very happy with me” because “they are doing very well,” but 44 percent consider that his policies have worsened their situation, and 38 percent have barely noticed any differences in the last year, according to a recent survey published by the CBS network.

According to the survey, 74 percent believe that the Administration is not focusing enough on reducing prices.

It didn’t take long for Trump to charge against European countries. “Certain countries in Europe are unrecognizable, and not in a good way,” he noted. “I love Europe, I want it to do well, but it is not going in the right direction.”

The tenant of the White House assured that he did not want to “offend anyone” by talking about “uncontrolled mass migration” on the European continent, but he did open the Greenland chapter.

On Sunday, Trump announced he would impose 10% tariffs on the eight continental countries that deployed troops to Greenland. This Wednesday, from Davos, he reiterated that only the United States can guarantee the defense of the semi-autonomous island.

“The United States saved Greenland and returned it to Denmark after World War II,” said Trump, accusing the Danes of being “ungrateful.”
