AT least one person has been killed and 10 others remain injured after a driver rammed his car into a crowd in Japan.
The car struck about a dozen people in Tokyo before the driver fled the scene on foot.
Among the ten people injured is a woman in her 20s who was found unconscious.
She is now being treated in the hospital, and her condition remains serious, The Japan Times revealed.
Local media reported that police had arrested the driver and said he is now under investigation for a suspected hit-and-run.
The driver had tried to flee on foot after the collisions, which took place at several locations, NHK reported.
