A GLAM Russian air hostess has been thrown behind bars by Vladimir Putin’s regime for saying she’d offer to make tea for Ukrainian soldiers.

Varvara Volkova, 23, was charged with “discrediting” Russia’s army – after the brave flight attendant made anti-Putin posts on social media.

Ural Airlines, the firm she worked for, claimed her social media had been “hacked”.

But a probe found there was no such cyber attack – and concluded that she had posted the pro-Kyiv messages herself.

One of her posts said: “I have a lot of friends in the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

“Many of them have died, and if they come [to Russia]I’ll give them tea because the Russian Armed Forces killed their civilians.”

She reportedly blasted mad Vlad, telling social media users: “That’s just my point of view, you should respect it.”

The flight attendant also said that she “loves Russia but doesn’t support the government”.

Volkova was also accused of personally criticising a Russian tank commander, Ruslan Grigoryev, who she had seen on television.

She was suspected of finding the soldier’s contacts and “threatening” him.

Filing a report to police, Grigoryev said: “She personally called me a fascist for participating in the [war].”

The tank commander later died fighting in Lysychansk, in Ukraine’s Luhansk region.

Images showed the flight attendant handcuffed to a police officer as she was brought into court to hear the verdict.

A Putin-loving judge sentenced her to seven years in a penal colony.

She was convicted of “public dissemination of knowingly false information about the Russian Armed Forces motivated by political hatred”.

Under draconian laws, Russians are forbidden to criticise the Russian army or Putin’s war.

They are also barred from voicing support or sympathy for Ukraine.

In August, two influencers were arrested after posting a TikTok posing in front of a flaming Russian plant following a Ukrainian strike.

TikTokers Dasha Vladimirovna, 21, and Karina Evgenyevna, 19, were filmed rapping in front of the burning facility.

A drone dramatically exploded the military-linked Rosneft-Kubannefteprodukt oil depot in Sochi.

They were captured in footage glorying in the Ukrainian strike which Putin’s air defences failed to prevent.

Kremlin moral guardian Yekaterina Mizulina, 40, head of Russia’s Safe Internet League, said: “Young people are filming content against the backdrop of drones flying into Sochi at night.

“I wonder what’s wrong with the instinct for self-preservation?

“Don’t they understand that this is simply dangerous?”

But the real reason for their arrest is the potential glamourising of a Ukrainian strike in Russia’s largest resort.

Moscow takes an increasingly aggressive, extreme stance against social media stunts seen as highlighting Ukraine’s successes in the war.

It comes as crunch talks to end Putin’s invasion continue to ramp up as Trump desperately seeks to secure a peace deal for yet another war.

The US president on Sunday accused Ukraine’s leadership of showing “zero gratitude” after his 28-point peace proposal received a wary reception.

In Geneva, European leaders have suggested alterations to some of the terms, and Marco Rubio said Washington was now looking at what “changes” it could make.

The proposal, drawn up by Russian sovereign wealth chief Kirill Dmitriev and top trump envoy Steve Witkoff, has been dubbed a complete surrender to Putin.

It would force Ukraine to cede occupied eastern territory, restrict its military to 600,000 troops and abandon its ambitions to join Nato.
