For TRCC Faculty/Staff:
Three Rivers Expands International Opportunities NORWICH—Three Rivers Community College has joined with the Washington, DC-based College Consortium for International Studies (CCIS), which organizes 90 study abroad programs in 29 countries around the world. The pact enables Three Rivers students to spend an exciting semester abroad in places such as France, Italy, and Mexico. CCIS programs are coordinated for Three Rivers’ students through Professor Mark Comeau, program coordinator for the TRCC Architecture and Construction Management programs. Professor Comeau has led spring break and special travel-study tours throughout Europe, Mexico, Nicaragua, and Egypt. “The popularity of our overseas trips grows every year,” Comeau said. “Students are changed by the experience and seeing a new part of the world.” In addition to offering a wide range of curricular interests, CCIS provides an array of options including host family or campus residency, competitive tuition rates and financial aid, and a variety of course areas including language, humanities and social sciences, physical sciences, business, studio art and design, and marketing. For more information about CCIS programs, Contact Professor Comeau at 885-2387 or via email at MComeau@trcc.commnet.edu.
