What is Information Literacy?
Information Literacy is a set of abilities that empower individuals to understand how the information is organized, to effectively locate, retrieve, evaluate, and use information.

1. Library's Online Collection
Subject-specific searches in professional electronic databases:
1. CINAHL (subject, keyword, Boolean operators)
2. PsychInfo (subject, keyword, Boolean operators)
3. Health and Wellness Resource Center (subject, keyword, Boolean operators)
2. Evaluating Information
Evaluating print and online information by using the following criteria: accuracy, authority, currency,
and comprehensiveness.
