Writing Style Guides |
| Documentation styles are systems for providing
information about sources used in research papers. Documentation
styles vary among academic disciplines. The Modern Language
Association style (MLA) is often used in the Humanities (English,
Theater, Art, Music, etc.). The American Psychological Association
(APA) style is used in the social sciences (history, sociology,
psychology, anthropology, human services, etc.). Check with your
instructor regarding which style you should use for your research work.
