CHID: Combined Health Information Database A joint project of the National Institutes of Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. An enormous database, but mostly what a search reveals is a bibliographic record (usually with abstracts, but very little full-text).

Columbia University's National Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse Full-text articles, statistics, on costs, impact, treatments and prevention of substance abuse.

Complete Home Medical Guide The Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons provides the Third Revised Edition of this resource, originally published in 1985.
