Blue Web 'n Learning Sites Library: Set of links to a large collection of activities, tutorials, lesson plans, projects and tools aimed at the educational sector. Broad subject categories include arts, business, English, foreign language, health and physical education, history and social studies, mathematics, science, technology, vocational education, education, and community interest.

Education Statistics Quarterly: Journal disseminating survey data, educational research findings, and information about all NCES products. Articles deal with early childhood education, elementary, secondary, and postsecondary education, with statistics and information reflecting the general standard of education in the US.

Educator's Reference Desk: Brings you the resources you have come to depend on. 2,000+ lesson plans, 3,000+ links to online education information, and 200+ question archive responses.

Encyclopedia of Philosophy of Education: Provides in-depth explanations of terms associated with education and its philosophy. Contains information on methods of teaching and learning such as constructivism, individual philosophers, and ethical concerns.

Issues in Freirean Pedagogy: In the early 1970s, Brazilian educator, Paulo Freire, published an English translation of his work, Pedagogy of the Oppressed. His general critique of education presented an analysis which challenged the neutrality of the technological model dominant in American schools. U.S. Department of Education: Compiles a variety of information relating to government initiatives and educational programs at all levels, education-related grants (look under OERI) and statistics (NCES) and departmental publications. News bulletins about department activities are added frequently. Statistics retrieval is unreliable, but otherwise the information provided seems current. It also provides access to individual state education departments. Searchable index and searchable department phone directory available.
