Listed below are a series of SUGGESTED Programs of Study for Science Majors.  These are primarily designed as GUIDELINES for students planning on transferring as science majors to four year institutions.  If your intended terminal educational goal is the Associates Degree/Certificate, please follow the program of study as listed in the appropriate department (Technology, Nursing).  

Some Tips:

The best order to take your science courses is; Math, Chemistry/Physics, Biology.

If you pass the prerequisite courses with a "C" or better, your odds of passing future courses     increases dramatically.  Generally a grade lower than a "C" implies that all of the material has not, as yet, been mastered and will put you at a great deficit in higher level courses.

 

   This page is under construction.  The POS's will not be available until a common numbering agreement is reached between all of the state institutions of higher education. Please contact your academic advisor to aid in your current Plan of Study.
