Christy Billings
Dan Cornelious
This award is
presented annually to two members of the graduating class. It is
given to individuals whose graduation represents more than academic
accomplishment. Recipients are those who have juggled the demands of
school, family, career and volunteer work and have still reached
their goal of graduating from college. Norwich radio station WICH/WCTY
co-sponsors and funds these awards.
Writing Awards
are presented each spring and recognize superior work done in both
the Fall and Spring semesters of the year. The Norwich Bulletin
co-sponsors and provides cash awards in these four categories:
Research Paper, Fiction, Non-Fiction, and Poetry.
First Year
Scholarship is presented to a first year student in recognition
of academic success, maturity, and desire to continue at Three
Rivers.
Rachel Etchells
Memorial Scholarship is presented to a student who is a single
mother of two or more children.
Children's
Scholarship is presented to a current student whose mother,
father or legal guardian is an alumnus of the current or former
colleges.

Jr. Journalism Award is presented to a student for outstanding
writing in the college magazine, The Current. the award is
named in honor of the late publisher of the Norwich Bulletin
and faithful supporter of the student writing awards.
Alumni Giving.
the Alumni Association appreciates the support given by our numerous
alumni, friends and businesses who make gifts to the annual fund.
Proceeds fund our various scholarships and also help us assist with
college events such as campus visits of the Connecticut Student
Poets and distinguished faculty lecture activities. |
