Student Programs

Social Interaction, Community Service and Educational Opportunities

The office of Student Programs promotes a variety of student activities and events that incorporate

social interaction, community service and educational opportunities outside of the formal

classroom. It also functions as the administrative center for student run groups. Students are

strongly encouraged to join or participate in student organizations, student government,

college committees, or student sponsored events. Affiliation and involvement offers students

many opportunities to gain leadership experience, enrich their college learning experience and

expand their personal interests. The Student Programs Offices functions as a coordination center

for a wide variety of college activities, including the Lunch & Learn Student Development

Workshops, International Festival, Clothesline Project, and is a place where students can purchase

tickets for parties, bus-trips, theater and other events.
