Get Involved in Volunteer Efforts (G.I.V.E.)

Students are highly encouraged to participate in volunteer community service activities either as part of a classroom assignment, through events sponsored by student organizations or the Student Programs Office. Volunteer community service activities include the International Coastal Cleanup, Read Across America, Habitat for Humanity, Make a Difference Day, The Empty Bowls Project, and Red Cross Blood Appeals.

Additionally, Three Rivers strongly encourages students to participate in Service Learning, in which students combine academic work with service to the community. Three Rivers has a number of courses in which students receive credit for volunteer work with a community organization.
