Online Registration Procedures

Who can register online?

All students who have earned 6 or more credits, attended TRCC continuously within the last two years and have all prerequisite courses listed on their transcript are eligible to register online by accessing myCommNet.

Please note: if there is a hold on your record, you will be not be allowed to access secured information and will not be able to register online.

In order to register for classes, drop or add classes, and pay your bill online, follow the instructions below:

      Go to http://my.commnet.edu

      Login using your Net ID

     Click on the Student Tab

     Click in the "Student Self Service" box to access your records

     Click on "Registration and Payment"

     Click on "Select Term" and "Submit"

     Click on "Register(add/drop) Classes

It will be helpful to select courses beforehand from the schedule of classes, as you will need to enter the CRN. (Course Registration Number)  You can access the class schedule online.  Click on the appropriate link to search for courses.  Follow instructions for registration and to make payment.

Since you are not required to obtain your advisor's signature before registering online, please take an additional few minutes to review the requirements for your program, to be sure to register for the correct courses.  If you have any doubts, feel free to call your advisor.  If you are not aware of your advisor's name, you can access that information online. 

Go to: www.my.commnet.edu

 *  Click on the Student Tab, then scroll down to and click in the "Student Self Service" box

 *  Click on "Student Records" then click "View Student Information"

 *  Select your school term, click submit

Scroll down to "Primary Advisor" to see your advisor’s name. If no advisor information appears, try again after the third week of classes.  If you still have problems, stop by the Student Services Welcome Center in Room A113 for assistance

Financial Aid

If you have applied for financial assistance, please use our online services and log on to myCommnet to see if your award is complete.  If so, register as outlined above. If your financial aid award has not been completed, you may register as outlined above and proceed to the payment screen to make payment or for further Financial Aid information. (click here)
