Request Official Transcripts
This Service is Free! No Charge for Official Transcripts
Students who have been enrolled within the past two and a half years are now able to request official transcripts using Self Service. Transcripts can be sent to a college, university or other destination of your choice. ____________________________________________________________________________________________
Steps to Request Official Transcripts 1. Login to myCommNet(http://my.commnet.edu) 2. Once you are in myCommNet, click on the Student tab 3. Click into Student Self Service, and choose the Student Records tab. 4. Click Request Official Transcript. Students can also view the status of their transcript request. ____________________________________________________________________________________________
If it has been more than two and a half years since you last attended, you may submit a written request for an official transcript. Requests should include the student's full name, former names if applicable, address, date of birth, signature, social security number or student ID number, date of graduation or last term of attendance and the complete name and address of the recipient of the transcript. Official transcripts bearing the College seal will be sent to the recipient designated by the student. Allow 5 to 7 working days for processing.
Unofficial Transcripts/Currently Enrolled Student Unofficial transcripts are available online to the students who have been enrolled within the past two and a half years. We encourage currently enrolled students to utilize the online process through their home computers or an on-campus computer to access their transcript. You will need to know your student ID number and password to log in. Go to http://my.commnet.edu Login using your NetId Click on the Student Tab Click in the "Student Self Service" box to access your records Click on "Student Records" Click on "Final Grades", select term, submit View/Print your final grades
OR Click on "Academic Transcript", select Level (TRCC Credit), submit View/Print your transcript
If you do not know your student ID number or password, click Password reset information If you know your student ID number and the answer to your security question, you can reset your password at www.commnet.edu/netid/password.aspx. * * * * * The Registrar's Office cannot release student ID numbers and/or reset net id passwords via telephone or email.
Unofficial Transcripts/Previously Enrolled Student If it has been more than two and a half years since you last attended, you may submit a written request for an unofficial transcript. If necessary, faxed requests are accepted but transcripts are never faxed. Request should include the student's full name, former names if applicable, signature, student ID number or social security number, date of graduation or last term of attendance and mailing address. During peak times, unofficial transcripts prepared by the college staff may require 5 working days for processing.
Grade reports will not be mailed at the end of a semester. Grades will be available via our website at http://my.commnet.edu approximately one week after the final exam period. You will need to know your student ID number and password to access your information. Students who are unable to access the web may use an on-campus computer.
