HISTORY

Hi, welcome to my web page.  I teach history at Three Rivers Community College in Norwich, CT.  I know: you think history is a boring subject; it brings tears to your eyes (especially when your head bangs off the table as you fall asleep during class).  Well I happen to disagree.  History is very much exciting.  It is alive and well, at least in my classes.  And each and every semester it is my pleasure to prove to students that they too can enjoy history.  And many times they find that along the way they may have learned a thing or two (that never hurts).

Below you can find more about me and the courses I teach.  If you have any comments, let me know.  I am always interested in feedback.

The greatest team in the history of sports: the New York Yankees.  I know there are plenty of Yankee haters out there, and you may be rejoicing now, but this team will be back.  That is what champions do.  We just missed this year.  But what other baseball fan wouldn’t be ecstatic about six World Series appearances in seven years, and four World Series titles.  I am a third generation Yankee fan and I hope my son will be the fourth generation to continue what my grandfather started many years ago.  You cannot deny history.  I don’t deny it; indeed, I embrace it!

Memories (and the future?)
