“Childhood has its own way of seeing, thinking, and feeling,

 and nothing is more foolish

than to try and substitute ours for theirs”

-Jean Jacques Rousseau

Working with children, our most valuable resources, requires

a commitment to excellence.

Here at TRCC, we offer numerous avenues of study, all with the same high standards.

Some excellent prerequisites to starting a degree program might be:

·      Having a love of and respect for children of all kinds;

·      Being open to learning and growing;

·      Having high ethical standards;

·      Being self-aware;

·      And being willing to do the work.

Other helpful attributes:

willing to sit on the floor, get paint on your hands and possibly your clothes,

gentle sense of humor; a love of learning, delighted by discoveries;

playful & serious; consistent & flexible;

able to work well with others; and more.

If this sounds like you, please join us.

“Play is the spontaneous practice of complex skills.”
