Hi, I am Professor Carroll.  I love teaching and learning about recent developments in the field of psychology, especially human development psychology.   My background is quite diverse; it includes an array of adventures.

Education:

I received a Master’s degree in Counseling from Harvard University’s School of Education.  I earned a bachelor’s degree with high honors from Merrimack College.  As an undergraduate, my academic major was Psychology with a minor in business.

 Professional Experience:

My experience includes many years of counseling people & guiding those in the corporate and non-profit sectors.  Most recently, I served Cape Cod Community College in the role of Director of Career Planning and Placement.  Simultaneously, I taught part-time. My favorite courses were Psychological Testing and Moral Development.  We investigated marvelous questions.  A hot topic of debate was, “how does an individual grow up to be a good person?”

Some highlights of my journey with a psychology degree include:

ü      Working in the human resources department of a private sector company

ü      Administering I.Q. tests to children and adults

ü      Computer programming

ü      Providing crisis intervention

ü      Managing recruitment events for technology companies

ü      Administering personality tests

ü      Career management and employment counseling
