TRCC GOLF CLUB/TEAM – This spring, the college is restarting its Golf Club activities, with the hope of returning to intercollegiate team competition in the 2008-2009 Academic Year and beyond. Our “Club” activities for the spring will include practice buckets of balls at the GreatBrook Facility on Route 184 in Groton and practice rounds for the more experienced players at our home course – Blackledge – in Hebron. We also hope to have a few scrimmages for our better players with other area college teams. Our golf club team as well as any future intercollegiate team will be co-ed. Golf is a life-long sport and I welcome ANYONE who is interested in learning about the sport as well as those advanced players looking for competition. I expect our spring season to start in early April, as soon as area golf courses have opened from their winter closure.
