Where?

The Three Rivers Math Computer Lab is located on the Mohegan Campus in the TASC Computer Lab in the LRC.

*What?*
The Math Computer Lab is run by the Math Resource Center (MRC) and the Tutoring and Academic Success Centers (TASC). The lab has 14 computer workstations, each with:

	Text-specific software for most math courses taught at Three Rivers - MyMathLab (for Pre-Algebra, and Elementary and Intermediate Algebra), ilrn ("I learn") (for Precalculus and Calculus), and StatDisk (for Statistics) software

	TI-Connect software - allows students to connect their graphing calculators to the computers and download programs that the student has written or downloaded from the internet. Note: the software in the lab works ONLY with the newer USB connectors (not with the older serial connectors)

	Sound cards for using the audio portion of multimedia applications. Note: Please bring your own headphones to minimize distraction to others using the lab.

When?

The Math Computer Lab is staffed by the tutors from TASC, so the lab is open during TASC's regularly scheduled hours of operation. Feel free to stop in during any of these times. Also, you can elect to meet with your tutor in the Math Computer Lab for any of your regular math tutoring sessions.

The lab is also available on a first-come, first-serve basis to faculty members who want to use the workstations for class demonstrations, projects, etc. A calendar is located in the Mohegan TASC for sign-up. This is important to track usage, identify needs, and minimize conflicts.
