• The Purdue University OWL (Online Writing Lab) website is one of the most complete and well- developed writing resource sites on the Web. Besides essential information, it presents handouts, PowerPoint (.ppt) presentations, online tutorials, and hundreds of pages of wonderfully presented materials.

• Hypertext Writer’s Guide at the University of Victoria is “Far and away the best available set, on the web, of hyperlinked references on all aspects of writing. This site contains over 300 virtual 'handouts' on all aspects of writing, including essay writing and different types of essays, paragraph and sentence structure, word usage, documentation conventions, literary terms, writing summaries, logic, punctuation, and grammar. Humanities

• Voice of the Shuttle from University of California at Santa Barbara.  Probably the best and most complete Humanities website online. Its mission has been to provide a structured and briefly annotated guide to online resources that at once respects the established humanities disciplines in their professional organization and points toward the transformation of those disciplines as they interact with the sciences and social sciences and with new digital media.

       A remarkable site.
