Request Official Transcripts Online through Self Service!

This Service is Free! No Charge for Official Transcripts!

Students can request official transcripts using Self Service. Transcripts can be sent to a college, university or other destination of your choice.

Transcripts Request Information

Current students can request their transcript, including official copies, via the internet at http://my.commnet.edu.  The student needs to login using their Student ID and other additional personal information.  Transcripts can be sent to the student or to parties outside the college.  There is no fee for this service. Students can also view the status of their transcript request online.

Former students who no longer have access to myCommNet, may request a transcript by submitting the transcript request form. Requests should include the student's full name, former names if applicable, address, date of birth, signature, social security number or student ID number, date of graduation or last term of attendance and the complete name and address of the recipient of the transcript.  Transcripts will be sent to the recipient designated by the student.  Allow 5 working days for processing.

Transcripts cannot be faxed or produced while you wait.  No telephone request can be accepted.  Transcripts will not be issued if a student has outstanding library or financial obligations to the college.

Student ID Numbers

You will need to know your student ID number and password to log in and access online services.

The Registrar's Office cannot release student ID numbers and/or reset net id passwords via telephone or email. In person request will be honored with a photo ID.

Steps to Request Official Transcripts
1. Go to http://my.commnet.edu
2. Login using your NetId and password
3. Click on the Student Tab
4. Click into "Student Self Service
5. Select the Student Records
6. Click Request Official Transcript.

Steps to Access Unofficial Transcripts
1. Go to http://my.commnet.edu
2. Login using your NetId and password
3. Click on the Student Tab
4. Click into "Student Self Service
5. Click on Student Records
6. Click on "Final Grades", select term, submit
7.  View/Print your final grades

                - OR -

8.  Click on "Academic Transcript", select Level (TRCC Credit), submit
9.  View/Print your transcript

Password Reset or Look Up NetID

Students can reset their Net ID Password or Look up their Net ID online at www.commnet.edu/netid/password.aspx. If the password reset doesn’t work because of missing information such as SSN or DOB or because the answer to the security question is not known, students can contact the Registrar’s office. The Registrar’s Office cannot release student ID numbers and/or reset netID passwords via telephone or email. If a student cannot reset their password online, they must choose an option below:

In-Person Resets:

If you cannot come to campus, you can fax your request to 860-886-6670 and include the information listed below in your request.

  • Name, DOB, address, and the last 4 digits of SSN
  • Include a readable copy of your photo identification (must be enlarged and lightened to be readable)
  • Telephone number and signature must be on the request or
  • Password reset request form.

Please allow 24 to 48 hours for processing time. You will not be notified when your password is reset due to the high volume of request for password resets.

Password Reset or Look Up NetID

If you know your student ID number and the answer to your security question, you can reset your password at www.commnet.edu/netid/password.aspx.

If you do not know your student ID number or password, you may click on Forgot your NetID or your Password to reset your information

If the password reset does not work because of missing information such as SSN or DOB or because the answer to the security question is not known, students can contact the Registrar’s Office.

The Registrar’s Office cannot release student ID numbers and/or reset NetID passwords via telephone or email. If a student cannot reset their password online, they must choose one of the options below:

1. In-Person Resets -

You may stop by the Registrar's Office and you must show a photo ID to have your password reset.

2. If you cannot come to campus -   

You can complete a Password reset request form and fax your request to 860-886-6670. Be sure to Include a readable copy of your photo identification (must be enlarged and lightened to be readable), your telephone number and signature.

Please allow 24 to 48 hours for processing time. You will not be notified when your password is reset.  You may log onto your account at http://my.commnet.edu to verify your reset has been processed.

Grade Reports

Grade reports will not be mailed at the end of a semester. Grades will be available via our website at http://my.commnet.edu approximately one week after the final exam period.The exact dates are listed in the academic calendar.

You will need to know your student ID number and password to access your information. Students who are unable to access the web off campus, may use an on-campus computer.
