Enrollment Verification Information

Verification of student enrollment status may be necessary to provide proof of education for insurance companies, degree status, credit card companies, employment, student housing or other purposes

How to get Enrollment Verification

  • An Enrollment Verification Certificate may be obtained from your Banner student self-service account myCommNet
  • Students whom are requred to verify their enrollment are encouraged to utilize the services of the National Student Clearinghouse
  • Confirmation of enrollment  is usually not available until after add/drop period ends which is approximately two weeks after the beginning of the semester
  • Date are posted in academic calendar

Enrollment Verification Certificate

  • An Enrollment Verification Certificate verifies dates of enrollment including full-time or part-time status for current and previous semesters
  • An Enrollment Verification Certificate retrieved from your Banner student self-service account will not be accepted by your lender( as indicated on the form) as verification of enrollment for loan deferment purposes

Go to http://my.commnet.edu

  • Login using your NetID and password
  • Click on "Banner student and faculty self-service"
  • Click on “Student Records”
  • Click on "Enrollment Verification Request" (pop up blocker must be off)
  • Click on “Obtain an Enrollment Certificate”
  • Print your Enrollment Verification Certificate

Enrollment Verification Certificate Not Available

  • Are you trying to access before it is available?
  • Has it been two weeks since the add/drop period ended? academic calendar
  • If you are unable to retrieve your enrollment verification or you are informed by the National Student Clearinghouse that your enrollment cannot be verified, you may contact the Registrar's Office at 860-215-9064.

Loan Deferment and/or Deferment Forms from Lenders

  • Students may inform their lenders that Three Rivers Community College(college code 009765) utilizes the services of The National Student Student Clearinghouse for enrollment verification
  • Students who receive in-school deferment request forms are not required to obtain the signature of a school official in the space provided but may be directed and assisted on "how to" forward forms to The National Student Clearinghouse (see options below)
  • Students may contact their lender to inform them of the date their deferment request was submitted to the National Student Clearinghouse
  • Confirmation of enrollment from lenders is usually not available until after add/drop period ends which is approximately two weeks after the beginning of the semester

IMPORTANT NOTES!

  • Submitting forms early, before the start of the semester does not guarantee early verification of enrollment status
  • Lender, student, or agency inquiring about the status of student enrollment may contact The National Student Clearinghouse
  • Please allow 7 to 10 business days (after the add/drop period) for your enrollment information to become available

Common Application Information

The Common Application (The Common App) is an undergraduate application used by many colleges and universities across the country and around the world.  Students transferring out of Three Rivers Community College may be required to apply to their college of choice using the Common Application.

The Transfer College Report

The Transfer College Report asks for the student's academic standing and conduct record and is completed by the Office of the Registrar and sent directly to the college of choice as indicated by the student.

  • Access the Transfer College Report Form from the "Recommenders and FERPA" section in the Common App.
  • Download the Transfer College Report form, print and bring it to the Registrar’s Office (Room A115) to complete.

Transcript Request and Common Application

  • Transcripts are sent directly from Three Rivers Community College to your college of choice as indicated when you request transcripts.
  • Students may submit a Transcript request through myCommNet or by visiting the Registrar's Office in Room A115 for assistance.
