Loan Information Sessions

As a part of the Direct Stafford Certification Process, you are required to attend an information session on the rights, responsibilities, and obligations for borrowing student loans. Following this information session, you will be given a Student Loan Awareness Test.

In addition, you also need to complete the following requirements for your Direct Stafford Loan certification (we recommend that you complete them prior to attending your loan information session):

• Entrance Counseling Interview and Master Promissory Note online (instructions attached)
• Attendance Verification Form signed by your instructors (a minimum of six credits must be   verified)

The final step for your loan certification would be to meet with a financial aid staff to review your loan test and to finalize your Direct Stafford Loan application.
