Welcome

Three Rivers Community College welcomes our Veteran and Active Duty students from all branches of the Service. We recognize the contributions that you have made in the service, and the contributions that you make to our campus life, both in and out of the classroom. We are also aware that you may have special concerns and/or requirements as you embark on your college journey.  Three Rivers Community College is proud of its designation as a Military Friendly School and we are constantly seeking to update and improve our services for Veteran Students. To that end we have developed this web page to provide information and resources to assist you.

Resources for Veterans' on Campus    

Oasis Center: located in room F203 and staffed by fellow veterans, this center provides resources and a haven for our Veteran students.

Advisors: your academic advisor should be your primary advisor. Sharon Lincoln and Christine Languth can assist with verifying that courses will be approved for certification. Both are located in the Student Services Suite (A113)

Veterans Group Therapy: Wednesday 6-8 pm, Room D208 This is a guided group led by a Veterans Counselor to help support veteran students around issues such as PTSD, Anger Management, Separation Anxiety, Concentration, Adjustment, etc. This is a drop in group: no registration required.

Counseling Center: Professional counselors are available to assist you with personal issues and to connect you to internal and external resources. Stop by Room A117 to meet with a counselor. Walk-in or by appointment

TASC:  The Tutoring and Academic Support Center provides all students with academic assistance in all subject areas that are offered at the college. Services are free. The TASC is located next to the Library in room C117.

Provides readjustment counseling services, sexual trauma counseling, Post-traumatic Stress outpatient treatment. Services include support groups and peer-led groups.
