Norwich should retain its college

Letters to the Editor

Editor:

It seems to me that Norwich is at the threshold of recovering its positive self-image. All we have to do is work together to make it happen. We have a beautiful city, Mohegan Park, the Rose Garden, Dodd Stadium, Slater Museum, superb historic architecture, two very vital arts groups and much more. It is time we let the governor and local legislators know that we feel that we are special to Connecticut.

As we taxpayers support the needs of our neighboring towns, we should ask them as good neighbors to support us. Norwich needs and wants Three Rivers Community College to stay in our city, and many of us support locating it at the junction of the three rivers. Are we finally waking up? Yes. Now, let's do something about it by letting the decision-makes know how we feel.
